On April 29, the "Great Power Textile, Embarking on a New Journey" Party-Building and Business Integration Exchange Conference, jointly organized by Global People magazine and China Textile Information Centre, was held at the People's Daily New Media Building. Guided by Party-building, rooted in the industry, driven by innovation, and committed to green development, the event closely followed the strategic directives of the Party's 15th Five-Year Plan. Centered on promoting high-quality industry development through high-quality Party-building, the conference brought together leading entrepreneurs, authoritative media, and industry organizations to explore pathways for integrating Party-building with business operations, and to deliberate on strategies for the steady, long-term development and reform-driven innovation of the textile industry.



Prior to the meeting, Zhang Pei, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Global People, accompanied the visiting guests on a tour of the People's Daily and its History Museum, offering them an in-depth look at the newspaper's history and its journey of perseverance and achievement. Attendees included Lyu Hong, Party Branch Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Global People; Yan Yan, Vice President of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) and Party Committee Secretary of China Textile Information Centre; Li Bo, Director of the Productivity Promotion Department of CNTAC, Deputy Director of China Textile Information Centre, and Director of the Textile Product Development Centre; and Xiao Ying, General Manager of Global People New Media Company. The conference was moderated by Chen Xiaoli, Deputy Director of the Productivity Promotion Department of CNTAC and Director of the Product Development Department of China Textile Information Centre. Leaders from 15 textile enterprises participated in the exchange.

Gong Zhaoqing, General Manager of Ever Biotechnology, leveraging the regional advantages of Weihai, has been deeply engaged in the R&D of alginate fiber, achieving a critical leap from laboratory research to mass production. Its products are applied in apparel, medical, and beauty care sectors, pioneering a new track for the textile industry.

In his concluding remarks, Li Bo emphasized that Party-building is a tangible driver of productivity, competitiveness, and cohesion.
